I have been writing since I was around seven years old (and I'm now 24), and my ambition has always been to be a writer. This website is the archives of my work since 1999 and probably reveals more about me than I can write here. In recent years I haven't written as much as I would have liked, having been studying much more than I ever wanted, however my studying paid off, and I now have both a HND and BA in Communication. In 2005 I joined the Falkirk Writers' Circle, and my hope is now I am finished studying to focus more on writing, which will hopefully mean more updates for this site. However much of my writing now is aimed at producing a novel, so my short stories may be few and far between.

Apart from writing, my main love is horses. Since I was a tiny tot, I have been madly in love with horses, and at the age of ten I was luckily enough to get my own pony, rather quickly followed by another (who we bought to keep our pony company) then a third (as pony #1 was pregnant, and no-one knew). Sadly those three ponies are gone now. Today I own a bay Standardbred pacing mare named Rowen. We are unsure of her age, but guess her to be in her mid teens. She is 15.2hh, absolutely gorgeous and thinks everyone else in the world is scum. She has a funny, quirky nature and is very standoffish. Despite her strange nature, she is a very well trained horse and a wonderful riding horse. I also own a tri-colour Irish Cob gelding called Baileigh. Again, we are unsure of Baileigh's age, but guess him to be around six years old. He stands at 16.1hh and is built like a tank. He is simply huge. Baileigh is the opposite of Rowen, a very affectionate, playful boy - he loves attention, and likes nothing better to inspect everyones clothing for hidden sources of food. He's still quite green under saddle, but is a good ride for novices, as while he does take the piss quite often, he is slow and safe. While he has been ill quite a bit throughout this year, the hope for his future is that he will be complete training in driving, and perhaps one-day show in it.

Other than writing and horses, my hobbies include: Poi (Fire, Glow, Tailed), Reading, Console/Computer games - especially 'point and click' and FPS, Disney movies - especially Lilo & Stitch, Watching DVDs, Cross-Stitch, Knitting - scarfs only until I learn knit-speak and roleplay - tabletop and live-action. I'm also one of three officials on the long-running simulated horse club, http://www.hfshc.com, established in 1997.
